MOTHER:
- You may have backache, inability to sleep, and fatigue.
- Your belly is growing rapidly at this point. It changes shape and you may even see your baby kick through your abdomen.
- As your body prepares for the birth you will notice that your joints feel looser—this is from the release of the hormone relaxin.
BABY:
- Your baby will continue to mature and develop reserves of body fat.
- Your baby’s hearing is fully developed.
- He or she changes position frequently and responds to stimuli, including sound, pain, and light. The amniotic fluid begins to diminish.
- If born prematurely, your baby would be likely to survive after the seventh month.
- Fetus is 35 -38 cm in length and weighs 1200 gm.
