FALSE PAIN: It usually occurs 1-2 weeks prior to the onset of true labour pain. Often irregular and felt especially in lower abdomen. The pain and contractions will stop when you walk or taking rest. It is found more in first time mothers.

TRUE LABOUR PAIN: pain is starting from the back and radiating towards the thighs and more in front of the abdomen. True labour pain comes at regular interval and as time goes on contractions come more frequently and increased in strength and last about 30-60sec. If you have this type of intensive abdominal pain more than one hour , immediately come to the hospital along with your medical records and dresses for your hospital stay.
